This means their high carb load rapidly spike up blood sugar, and can be a contributing factor to heart disease, weight gain, and diabetes. In addition to all these, they’re not doing any favors to your skin.

Everyone always wants that little treat at the end of the day, but unfortunately, but doing this with a box of cookies might not be really the way to go. Although sports drinks contain electrolytes like sodium and potassium which are lost through sweat, they are often very high in sugar and calories as well as low pH which increases to a large extent the risk of obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart disease and even the erosion of tooth enamel.
